This week we have been learning the colour Pink!

We made Pink shape pictures.

We made Angel delight.

We made Rock road cakes with one of our Parent helpers.

The children have made Advent Calendars, which we will send home on Friday.

We had fun at the Birthday party!

We had a fantastic time playing party games.

We have been working on our number recognition.

This week we have been learning the colour brown.

The children have made fingerprint owls.

This week we have been using scissors to cut out hedgehogs.

We made hedgehogs using the playdough and the sticks.

On Tuesday we went to the library. This week we have been learning to throw, catch and aim using balls.

On Thursday we went on our autumn walk and they enjoyed jumping in the leaves. We talked about deciduous and evergreen trees.

Welcome to our first nursery blog!

This week we have been learning about the colour purple.

The children have made some lovely purple bubble prints!










At circle time we sang the what is purple song, counted and played games using the purple objects the children brought in from home.
















On Tuesday we took the children to visit the church. Father Martin showed the children the Baptismal font.

We have been learning about Autumn, looking at displays both inside and outside, talking about changes that occur during the autumn season and investigating the conkers, pine cones and leaves.

On Friday the children enjoyed making and eating their plum jam sandwiches at snack time.
